Bespoke Sanlorenzo Yachts at FLIBS 2013

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) plays host to three Sanlorenzo Jewels – on display from October 31st – to November 4th 2013.

These custom-built motoryachts have been Americanized to precisely fit the standards and nuiances of the region: from their bespoke interior design, to the electrical system, to the empowered air-conditioning, all specifically requested by the American market.

After the recent sales achievements of the local Sanlorenzo Americas office, that has been able to sell 3 Sanlorenzo models in 3 months (two SL94 and one SL104), the yachts that will be on show are from the following successful models in the range:
- the SL72, the SL94 and the internationally award-winning SD122.

This custom-built SD122 is the largest new Sanlorenzo hull in the USA today. Her proud owner named his Made-to-Measure yacht, “Alchemist Too”. At 122ft (38 meters), this stunning 4-deck superyacht has a semi-displacement hull, offers a staggering cruising range of 3,000 nm at 11 Knots, and will be on display for the first time.

FLIBS is the most important boat show in the continent of America, which Sanlorenzo has been attending since 2008, thanks to its direct office placed in Fort Lauderdale.
This office has been able to offer the most discerning owners across the Americas, comfort from the knowledge that, since 1958, there have never been two Sanlorenzo Yachts the same, bringing satisfaction that each yacht is a truly unique piece: custom-made for its owner, like a tailored suit.

- SL72: the elegant and timeless 72ft (22 meter) hull in composite material from Sanlorenzo’s planing range. (Hull No. = SL72-585)

- SL94: (28.60m) is the award winning model that Sanlorenzo launched last year at the Genoa Boat Show, which immediately won the Italian “Boat of the Year” prize Barca dell’Anno 2012. This motoryacht combines timeless shape and style with the most innovative eco-friendly technology. This was recognised in February 2013 with the prestigious UIM Union Internationale Motonatique award and the international Environmental Award 2013.

- SD122: (37.75 m) is the flagship of the Sanlorenzo semi-displacement range, with production from the Viareggio shipyard. The imposing motoryacht recalls the elegance of the transatlantic ships and, at the same time, she can offer much space inside and outside to comfortably experience the sea. Awards she has won include the prestigious World Superyacht Award in 2010, and has a total of ten SD122 sister-ships that have been built and sold so far.

SANLORENZO Spa

Sanlorenzo shipyards were established in Viareggio in 1958 and up to 1985 the production consisted of semi-custom boats that were totally wooden-made. In 1985, the first Sanlorenzo fibreglass flying bridge was born, the SL57. In 1999 the company moved to Ameglia into a natural park area (Sanlorenzo is certified “UNI EN ISO 14001” which guarantees the utmost respect for the environment). The lines of the Sanlorenzo fleet have always been extremely classic, never-aging.
In April 2005, Massimo Perotti took over from Giovanni Jannetti the shipyards that become Sanlorenzo Spa.
Massimo Perotti, after bringing to completion many of the most original and successful products of the sector, decides to leave the industry figures where he had built his background to join a tradition of absolute perfection and small production numbers. The Sanlorenzo philosophy remains focused on “customization and total dedication to the customer, top notch quality and personal relationships”.
Today Sanlorenzo is based on two divisions: the Ameglia Division, for the production of fibreglass motor yachts ranging between 62 and 118 ft., and the Viareggio Division, for the production of navettas in composite material with a semi-displacement hull from 92 to 122 ft. and superyachts in metal (aluminium and steel), from 40 to 62 metres.
